Hi! I'm MinÂ
I’m a professional illustrator based in South Korea, currently working primarily in the web novel industry. I am also affiliated with a digital drawing academy in Korea, where I teach online courses. Over the years, I’ve created numerous cover illustrations and character artworks, with a strong focus on semi-realistic male characters. My work often centers on capturing expressive faces, natural poses, and detailed rendering, which are some of the aspects I enjoy exploring the most.
Through this course, I hope to share the techniques and thought process I’ve developed while working professionally, especially when it comes to building believable structure and rendering in a way that feels natural and visually engaging. My goal is to help artists approach character drawing with more confidence and clarity while keeping the process practical and approachable.
Why this course is for you...
This beginner-friendly course focuses on building a strong foundation for drawing characters.
Instead of jumping straight into shading or coloring, we will start with the most important skills every artist needs: understanding form, structure, and line quality.
Throughout the course, you will practice essential exercises such as line training, drawing simple 3D shapes, and learning the basics of perspective to create more believable and dimensional forms. From there, we will move on to drawing simple faces, covering facial proportions, features, and hair.
By the end of the course, you will be able to draw a character’s face from multiple angles with greater confidence and a clearer understanding of structure.
This course is designed for beginners who want to build solid drawing fundamentals step by step.
What my students say about me:
Lee Chae Eun
Thanks to her lessons, I’m now able to finish an entire piece on my own from start to finish.
Her course also helped me greatly in the process of finding my own style of deformation, which I had been struggling to figure out before. In addition, I was able to learn many useful functions of the tools that I hadn’t known about, which improved my workflow and broadened the range of expressions I can use in my work.
I’m truly grateful for the insightful and valuable lectures she provides!

Personally, this class helped me reorganize the direction of my drawing practice. The theoretical parts of the class may feel somewhat academic and a bit dry, but I found that my skills improved the most when I tried applying the theories I learned in class to my own drawings. I would recommend this course to people who feel unsure about what they should do to improve their drawing skills or who want to learn the fundamentals in a more systematic way.

Kim Yeon Soo
From basic techniques like how to use fundamental lines, to difficult coloring methods and ways to study color, she taught many things I had never even thought about before. She didn’t just show the methods but also explained why those methods work. Because of that, I was able to understand the purpose behind the practice and continue training while actively thinking about what I was doing. Thanks to this approach, I was able to grow quickly in just three months.
